Our Mission
To enhance the educational experience at Nelson Elementary by supporting teachers, engaging families, and building a stronger school community.
The Nelson PTO is an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization made up of parents, guardians, teachers, and staff at VH Nelson Elementary. Together, we work to provide opportunities and resources that go beyond the school budget and help make the Nelson experience even more meaningful for our students.
Through fundraising, volunteering, and community support, we help fund classroom resources, school events, student activities, teacher appreciation, and more.
We also organize fun, engaging events that bring students, families, and staff together, creating opportunities to connect and strengthen our school community.
Every Nelson family is part of our community. Whether you volunteer your time, attend an event, contribute to a fundraiser, or simply help spread the word, there are many ways to get involved and make a difference.
By strengthening the partnership between home and school, we help create a positive, welcoming, and supportive environment where every Nelson Eagle can thrive.
